Bio
Rachel is a Baltimore girl through and through; she loves her city and is involved in many activities and hobbies. Catch her at the latest restaurant opening, networking at the hottest events in town, and constantly connecting people, both personally and professionally. She is always on the go and loves fitness, roller skating, hiking, traveling, scuba diving, golf, playing rec sports, ballet, just to name a few. Rachel is an avid holistic health junkie and is constantly learning and striving for a healthier life.
Her passions are all over the place and she loves sharing new things with others -- you won’t walk away without a new product recommendation or learning something! Rachel has a huge heart and is involved with local charities as well as her passion project - giving back and sponsoring children in Honduras.
Inspiration for Modeling
Rachel was never comfortable in front of the camera or with her body for most of her late teen/adult life. After working on herself inside & out, she grew to love her body and started to become more intentional with how she presented herself. Rachel gained the confidence to give modeling a shot. With no prior experience, she went to a casting call for a local retail fashion show - “FashionEASTa” - in Harbor East, Baltimore. In August of 2022, she walked her first runway. That experience led to many new friends which led her to network in the modeling and influencer circle of Baltimore. From there, she started to apply for open casting calls and opportunities started to snowball and she is loving every minute!
Making a Difference
Rachel has been involved with community service since middle school, through college, and into her adult life. She has worked with various shelters, soup kitchens and other local organizations. Her proudest volunteer moments are with her sexual assault advocacy work and her mission work with Honduras.
Rachel made a big impact working with FORCE: Upsetting Rape Culture for several years on their community/traveling art project called “The Monument Quilt”. She helped to raise awareness for assault victims and their families, ran fundraisers and shared her story to provide a safe space for others to know they are not alone. Rachel recently started working with an organization called TurnAround, being part of their Survivor Advocacy Board in which she will be participating in their events, workshops, and using her testimony and voice to help with legislation surrounding laws and decisions made around assault victims.
Rachel has been sponsoring two sisters in Choluteca, Honduras since 2015. She met them on a mission trip and fell in love and has since started an organization with a friend called Hearts for Honduras (Hearts 4 Honduras, Inc.). Rachel organizes mission trips for small groups of volunteers through their partner GCLA, with the end goal of improving the village of Limon, spreading awareness to gain new sponsors, and the overall improvement of the children's development center. 💙H4H Instagam
